About Mentoras
Mentoras is a Cyprus-based EdTech startup supported by the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) Cyprus. We connect students with talented tutors from leading universities and organisations, making personalised academic support more accessible, flexible and affordable. From ongoing learning to focused exam preparation and coursework guidance, we help students find support that fits their goals and schedule. We also give tutors the tools to share their expertise, manage lessons and build meaningful teaching opportunities. Our ambition is to grow a trusted learning community in Cyprus.
The Team
Mentoras was founded by Petros Symeon, Antonis Melas and Harris Hadjiantonis. Having spent years studying and working at leading institutions, including Cambridge, Southampton and Edinburgh universities, we wanted to give back to our community. Through Mentoras, we aim to share the knowledge, experience and opportunities we have gained by making high-quality tutoring more accessible to students in Cyprus.
